PERSONAL.—Captain M. L. Davies was a passenger to Wellington from Sydney by the Maunganui on Tuesday. Mr. G. H. Kime, second officer of the Tahiti, has transferred to the Hauraki in a similar capacity, relieving Mr. T. H. Davies, who has been appointed temporary second officer of the Tahiti. Mr. J. W. Thomson has been reappointed chief officer of the Ivanna after holidays. PAKEHA AT LONDON.—A cable message has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company advising that the Pakeha arrived at London on Sunday evening from Wellington. The vessel left Wellington on March 23. MIDDLESEX LEAVES CURACOA.— Cabled news has been received' by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Middlesex arrived at Panama last Thursday from Wellington, and sailed again on Friday. She left Curacoa on Sunday, en route to London and Rotterdam. CORNWALL AT LONDON.—Cabled advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that the Federal steamer Cornwall arrived at London last Saturday from Napier. The vessel left Napier on March 23 for London and West Coast ports of Greajt Britain. THE CANADIAN TRANSPORTER.— The Canadian National Steamships have been notified by cablegram that the Canadian Transporter left Halifax on Thursday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin and Bluff. The vessel is due at Auckland on June 12. COPTIC LEAVES COLON.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company has been notified by cable that the Coptic left Colon on Sunday evening for Southampton and London, en route from Wellington. The vessel sailed from Wellington on April 16. TAHITI’S PASSENGERS. —The Tahiti, which left Wellington last night for Sydney, took the following passengers.— First-class: Mr. H.
