SIR WILLIAM OTTER DEAD

A VETERAN GENERAL (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) TORONTO. Monday. The death has occurred of General Sir William Otter, a veteran of the South African War and the Northwest Rebellion in Canada; aged 85. In the Great War he was director of internment operations in Canada. He rose to the highest military rank in Canada, and became InspectorGeneral. after beginning his career as a private.
