RESULT OF BY-ELECTION (From Oar Own Correspondent) WHANGAREI, To-day. The resignation of Mr. E. Swan was the cause of a by-election being held at Kamo on Monday for the purpose of appointing a member to fill the vacancy on the Town Board. Mr. L. J. Meredith was successful. Details of the voting were: L. J. Meredith. 6?; W. Marrick, 41: E. G. Wood. 10.
