MT. EDEN GAOL CONCERT
Twenty-five concert artists from the Auckland City Mission visited the Mt. Eden Gaol last evening. Items were given by an orchestra, followed by plantation melodies by Mr. C. Mars. Mr. Cucksey, Air. Arthur Austin, Mr. H. Samuels. Mrs. Edwards, Mr. Bert Watson and numerous other artists contributed to the programme. Mrs. Dunn and Mr. Corringham were the accompanists. The official gaol visitor. Mr. Stewart. thanked the party for its visit, and enthusiastic cheers were given by the inmates.
