YOUNG MAN IN COURT Press Association WELLINGTON, Tuesday. In the Supreme Court to-day James Smith, a young man, was found guilty of doing actual bodily harm to John Leef, a ship’s fireman, on January 25, by striking him over the head with a beer bottle. On the major charge of assaulting Leefe with intent to do grievous bodily harm accused was found not guilty. He was remanded until Monday for sentence.
