FAREWELL AND PRESENTATION

A farewell was tendered by their many friends to Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Bell, of Paterangi. who are leaving shortly to take up their residence in Papatoetoe.

A presentation took the form of two beautifully-upholstered divan chairs. Mr. Bell thanked the company on behalf of himself and Mrs. Bell for the useful gifts. Dancing was Indulged in and card tables were arranged on the stage for the use of players. Mr. G. Finch was M.C., and the music was supplied by Mrs. W. Macky, Misses E. Shaw. J. Strawbridge, R. Garratt. Messrs. Lopp and Holmes.
