CHRISTCHURCH COUNCIL COUNT ALMOST COMPLETED Press Association CHRISTCHURCH. To-day. It is now practically certain the personnel of the new Christchurch City Council will be: Messrs. E. H. Andrews, M. E. Lyons, J. W. Beanland, J. A. Flesher, A. W. Beaven, W. H. Williamson and J. Parlane, and Mrs C. A. Fraer, of the Citizens' Association, Mr. D. G. Sullivan, M.P., and Mrs. E. R. McCombs. Messrs. F. R. Cooke, A. E. Armstrong, P. W. Sharpe T. H. Butterfield, E. Parlane (Labour), and Dr. H. T. J. Thacker (Independent). The Labour and Citizens’ Association now have equal representation, with Dr. Thacker holding the balance.
