MAN FOUND DYING

COLLAPSE ON GREAT SOUTH ROAD While walking along the‘ Great South Road at Papatoetoe about 3 o'clock this morning, Mr. C. W. Percy, a we 11-known retired farmer, who resided at Papatoetoe, was seized with a heart attack and coilapsed. Mr. F. M. Waters, chairman of the Maniikau County Council, found Mr. Percy lying on the road, and summoned Drs. A. B. Jameson and J. J. Valentine, who pronounced life extinct. Mr. Percy left home this morning in his usual health with the in tear.ion of catching a bus to Auckland- He was 72 years of age and one of the oldest residents of the district. He had been suffering from heart trouble for some time.
