Jones as a borough representative on the Hospital Board, by the margin of one vote. On the night of the election the figures showed 31 r. Jones to be six votes ahead. As a result of the wrongful apportionment of a parcel of 100 votes on polling night, Mr. A. T. Brainsby was placed in third position in the election of members of the Borough Council. His vote is officially announced as 1.312, which places him sixth on the list. Mr. EL G. W. Tib—bits moves into third position.
