AUTUMN SHOW DATES The Council of the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association at its meeting yesterday decided to hand the control of the award of North 1 Island championships for stock at shows to the conference -o€ North Island agricultural and pastoral associations, and to ask for the award of North Island championships at the : firs: autumn show to be held in Auck- ! land. The tentative dates for the autumn show were fixed as February _ 7 and 1 1 and March I. Members stood in silence as a tribute to the memory of Mr. Benjamin Buttle, who died recently. He was closely associated with the Winter Exhibition, of which he was treasurer for some years. The president. Mr. J. T. F. Mitchell and Mr. W. W. Massey were appointed : to represent the council at the annual | conference of North Island Agricultural and Pastoral Associations to be held at Auckland on July 10.
