MACHINE OUT OF CONTROL

DASH DOWN COLLEGE KILL While coming down College Hill pn his way into town about 8 o’clock this morning the chain of a bicycle ridden by Mr. M. Casey, of 8 BayHeld Road, Freeman’s Bay, came off and the machine went out of control. It dashed down the hill and off the road, going through a picket-fence at ona of the corners. Mr. Casey was thrown off and received severe head injuries, being taken to hospital while still unconscious, by a passing car. His condition this afternoon was reported to be still serious, although ho had regained consciousness.
