Veitch, Minister of Mines and Labour, joined the Limited it pokeno last evening en route for Wellington. Mr. Cecil Trevithick, of Auckland, is saving next Tueseday by the Aorangi to spend six months in the United states. Mr. Alan G. McGowan, New Zealand general manager of Australasian Films, Limited, arrived from Wellington yesterday t v Mr. H. E. Scbureck, manager in New Be&land of First National Pictures, Limited, arrived in Auckland by this morning’s Limited. Mr. E. L. Cull, Government designing engineer at Wellington, has been appointed Professor of Engineering at Canterbury College. Mr. H. Bardsley, New Zealand manager for British Film Service, Limited, Wellington, is in Auckland. He is staying at the Albert Hotel. Mr. S. I. Goodall, L.L.M., has been appointed lecturer in Mercantile Law if and Trustee Law in the commerce classes at the Auckland University College. Mr. H. C.
