BANKRUPTCIES DROP
MARCH TO APRIL YEAR’S FIGURES LARGER Bankruptcies in the Auckland district fell off in number during - April. In March there were 20, but last month there were only 11. April is a lean month for bankruptcies usually, for last year there were only seven cases. So far this year the number of bankruptcies is larger than that in the same period last year. No specific reason can be attached, as the cases represent varied sections of the community. A table of cases in the past three
