FEW SUBURBAN CHANGES Public Faith in Old Order THE Auckland suburban elections brought no spectacular changes, the voters, for the most part being content to endorse the preferences of two years ago. New Mayors were elected in Onehunga and Birkenhead, where old Mayors did not seek renewal of office, and New Lynn, recently constituted a borough, elected its first Mayor. There were not many great changes in the borough councils, although in most districts one or two members were unseated.
