“DAWN” FILM

CABINET TO VIEW SPECIAL COPY SUCCESS IN MELBOURNE (From Our Resident Reporter) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Still another stage has begun in the history of the much-discussed film “Dawn.” British Dominion Films, Ltd., who are handling this picture in New Zealand, are importing a special copy of the film to screen it before the members of Cabinet. The company waited to see the result of the screening of “Dawn” in Melbourne, where it opened a week ago in Australia’s largest theatre. The result has proved so favourable that this further step is contemplated. “Dawn” has now been screened in every part of the British Empire except New Zealand.
