IMPROVEMENTS PLANNED HIGHWAYS BOARD’S MOVE Press Association WELLINGTON, To-day. The Main Highways Board has been considering the improvement of visibility and the provision of warning devices at railway level crossings. In addition to amounts which it is making available for the total elimination of certain crossings, the board has decided to provide funds for improvements at those crossings which cannot be entirely eliminated, and negotiations arc now being entered into with the Railway Department.
