BOROUGH OF NORTHCOTE
The finances of the Borough of Northcoie have been left in a sound position by the outgoing council. The general account shows a surplus of revenue over expenditure of £ 3,003, which includes £2,783 subsidy received. The waterworks maintenance account shows a surplus of £276. The drainage loan interest account is in credit £3OO and the sanitation account has a credit of £l9. In commenting on this statement the Mayor. Mr. A. E. Greenslade( complimented the outgoing council at its meeting last evening in leaving the finances of the borough in such a sound position for its successors.
