WAIUKU TOWN BOARD
A special meeting of the Waiuku Town Board was held on Monday night, the chairman, Mr. J. J. A. James, presiding. Three tenders were received for the erection of a reservoir, but as the engineer considered that they were too high, no tender was accepted. It was resolved to invite fresh tenders for a reservoir 32in x 21ft, tenders to close on May 13. It was decided that should a satisfactory tender be received, that the work on the reservoir be immediately proceeded with.
