ST. PAUL’S PARISH
ANNUAL MEETING HELD Although there was a decrease of £24 in the parish revenue for St. Paul’s Church last year, a reduction of £220 in the parish indebtedness compensated for this to some extent. This was considered to be satisfactory by the good attendance at the annual meeting of parishioners, over which the vicar, the Rev. Cecil Watson, presided. The annual report stated also that the mission quota of £BO had been fully met, and had now been raised to £95. All church property was in good order with the exception of the organ, which was in need of repair. The church completion fund now stood at over £2,700, and synod had given permission for the raising of a further sum of £ 4,000. Officers were elected as followVicar's warden. Mr. A. J. Stratford; people's warden, Mr. E. G. Thomas; vestry-, Messrs. L. J. Armitage, S. Betts, E. Harper. E. Hartley-, A. J. Horsley, H. F. Jillings, G. E. Jones, F. S. T. Little, C. S. Michel and C. Panting.
