SATURDAY’S OPENING The weather was line for the Baku- 1 franga Hunt Club's opening on Satur- | day. when there was a large number of members and friends present. The hunt breakfast was served in the East Tamakt Hall, which was decorated attractively with autumn flowers. Their Excellencies the GovernoiOeneral and Lady Alice Fergusson were present. A feature of the meeting was the large number of boys and girls who followed on their ponies. Among those present were Mrs. bullock- Webster and Miss Webster, Mrs. Lloyd, Mrs. W. E. S. Thomas, Mrs. Waller. Mrs. t'olbeck. Mrs. H. M. Marler, Mrs. F. Brown (Denmark), Mrs. W. McLaughlin. Miss Smith. Miss i Dun net. Miss K. Waller, Miss Jocelyn ) Bloomfield. Miss Hunter. Miss Etline Lloyd, Mrs. H. G. Garland, Miss Col- j beck. Miss Marjorie Sutor. Mrs. M. | Johnson, Miss Wilson, Miss Upton, Miss Martin. Misses Shirley and Aubrey Garland. Miss M. Davidson, Misses P. end D. Weston. Appreciation of the action of the farmers in opening their fields to the hunt was expressed by Mr. Bullockand three cheers were given j for them, together with musical hon- ' curs.
