COURT ORDER DEFIED

STRIKERS REFUSE TO WORK SYDNEY, Friday. The 38 timber workers who were ordered by Mr. Justice Lukin on Wednesday to return to work by to-day have defied the order. It is understood that If the men go to prison their dependants will be provided for. The Melbourne master builders have sent an ultimatum to the timber men a.nd carpenters that if the building jobs are not manned before 5 p.m. on Monday all the works will he closed down, by which 5,000 men who are now working on them will he rendered idle.
