PRISON FOR ROGUE
SERIOUS CHARGES ADMITTED (From Our Own Correspondent) MORRINSVILLE, To-day. At the Morrinsville Police Court yesterday before Messrs. C. M. Gummer and H. Kirk, J.P.’s, an elderly man, Benjamin Speight, pleaded guilty to a charge of being an incorrigible rogue and was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment. Speight also pleaded guilty to charges of indecent assault against girls of 10 and 13 years of age respectively, and was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
