BRITISH SUMMER TIME
British Official Wireless RUGBY, Sunday. Summer time came iuto operation in Britain to-day, the clocks having been put forward one hour in the night. The change-over seems likely to coincide with a spell of wintry weather, with high north-easterly winds. Saturday was exceptionally warm, with 11 hours of sunshine in southern and central England, but yesterday the temperature fell rapidly. In Scotland snow and sleet have fallen.
