MEASURES ENFORCED (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 9.5 a.m. ' PARIS, Monday. The smallpox measures were enforced at French ports for the first time. The Folkestone-Boulogne boat, ordinarily with 250 passengers, to-day had only 93, of whom 24 produced British medical certificates that they were vaccinated recently. The others were herded into the sanitary office and given sanitary passports, by which they remain under supervision in whatever district they are going to. They must inform the authorities if there are symptoms of illness.
