CAR-CONVERTER’S EXCUSE Press Association WELLINGTON, To-day. explanation that he had been asked by a man. whose name he did not know, to drive a truck to the Albion Hotel in the early hours of Sunday morning, was advanced by Patrick Joseph Kelly, aged 17. when be was charged at the Wellington Police Court with converting a car to his own use. Accused was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon within 12 months.
