RABBIT BREEDING

CERTAIN SPECIES BANNED MINISTER’S DECISION The number of breeds of rabbits for breeding purposes has been drastically limited. Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P.. has been informed by the Minister of Agriculture. the lion. G. W. Forbes, that because of the expenditure which would be incurred in supervising and controlling the premises on which rabbits are kept, it has been decided not to permit the introduction of Sables. Havanas, Argents or any breeds other than Angora and Chinchilla.
