WOMAN BADLY HURT

FOUND WITH FRACTURED SKULL DOMINION ROAD ACCIDENT Found lying at the corner of Dominion Road and Elizabeth Street, about 3.30 yesterday afternoon, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Morris, of Birkenhead, is now in the Auckland Hospital, suffering from a fractured skull. Mrs. Morris, who is the wife of Mr. R. Morris, of Birkenhead, was discovered lying on the pavement by a passer-by. He immediately called a doctor, and she was rushed to hospital by the St. John Ambulance. Her condition was serious and she was operated on last evening, but this morning she is reported to be more comfortable. No one saw the accident happen, but it is thought that Mrs. Morris must have slipped and struck her head on the pavement as she fell.
