THIS SPLENDID NEW RAILWAY BRIDGE is to span the Waikato River at Ngaruawahia. It is scheduled for completion in the next two years, The present bridge will not be dismantled, but will probably be used for vehicular traffic. Tenders for the new bridge will be called shortly, and it is expected that work will begin on it some time in July or August.
