SMALL FIRE IN CITY

EMPTY SHOP DAMAGED Fire broke out in a small unoccupied building- at ( tbe foot of Wakefield Street about 11 a.m. yesterday. The buildiug consists of a shop and two rooms, and before tbe brigade could get the Are out one room was badly damaged. The other rooms were only slightly damaged by water. The shop was unoccupied, and there was nothing of value in the place. The building is owned by Mr. Herbert Kerley, of Burnley Terrace, Kingsland.
