BORSTAL TREATMENT FOR YOUTH Stating that it was his duty to protect young children, Mr. Justice Kennedy sentenced John Emil Mohns (19), of Morrinsville (Mr. E. McGregor), to two years’ detention in the Borstal Institute, on a charge of indecent-as-sault on u girl of nine. Cohns el advanced accused’s good career before the crime as a plea for leniency. Prisoner was a hard-work-ing plumber. His Honour said it was not a case for probation.
