MAYOR ADDRESSES RATEPAYERS (From Our Own Correspondent) DARGAVILLE, To-day. The Mayor, Mr. F. A. Jones, and the Deputy-Mayor addressed a meetin- of ratepayers last evening dealing with the borough administration during the past four years Mr. Ross explained the purpose of and details in connection with the gasworks loan proposal to borrow £2.000. An appreciative hearing was given and a motion of thanks passed.
