SMALL VESSEL ASHORE
STRANDED AT RIVER MOUTH (Special to THS SVNJ NEW PLYMOUTH, Friday. The Ka-pui, a small coastal oil ves J® 1 tons, grounded at the mouth of the Mokau River last evening. She appears to be undamaged. The Kapui, which is owned by the Taranaki Shipping Company, Waitara and is commanded by Captain Halcrow, had a full cargo of 40 tons including 20 tons of bitumen.
