£SO PAID OFF DEBT

WAIMAUKU CHURCH FINANCES (From Our Own Correspondent) WAIMAUKU, To-day. At the annual meeting of the St. Martin’s Memorial Church, held yesterday, the vicar, the Rev. R. Hill Johnstone, presided over a good attendance. The balance sheet showed that £SO had been paid off the debt on the church, current expenses amounted to £65, and £3B had been spent in improvements and repairs to the building. There was a small credit balance. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Colonel C. T. Major, church warden; Mr. T. Charters, synodsman; Mr. H. W. Mason, secretary; committee, Messrs. C. J. Watts, S. Walker, L. Kerr Taylor, J. L. Fray, T. Charter and Meedames Charter, Martin and Burrell.
