VISITORS TO WAIKATO

SOUTH ISLAND FARMERS ENTERTAINMENT ARRANGED (Special to THE SUN) HAMILTON, To-day. Three hundred South Island farmers are expected to visit the Waikato by special train during the Waikato Winter Show and a meeting was held yesterday to arrange for their entertainment. Mr. A. W. Wellsted, commercial agent for the Railway Department, announced that the party would arrive in Hamilton at 8.40 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, and would spend two days in the district. The meeting arranged that the farmers should be billeted and should visit Arapuni, Cambridge, Ruakura, several dairy factories and the flax plantations at Gordonton.
