lady fergusson attends Her Excellency the Lady Alice FerSusson was present at the monthly meeting of the Manurewa branch of th© League of Mothers held in the Manurewa Town Hall yesterday afterno °n. and gave an address on the aims and ideals o£ the league. Fhe Manurewa troop of Brownies a guard of honour at the hall. The meeting was very well attended, Y*sitors being present from Auckland, tiT - OI F "* e yi*iouth. Brookby and r~kanini. Bowls of mauve and white ©osma decorated the hall, and at the conclusion of her Excellency’s speech, were given by Mrs. Venise and Voungson. A bouquet of autumnunted flowers was presented to Lady by Miss Heather Carroll, whose in \« er ® rst promoted the movement ’ Manurewa. While afternoon tea t 7* m?ing served her Excellency was troduced to members and visitors ° m t be various branches.
