FAREWELL TO REV. L. DALLEY
The esteem in ►which the Rev. L. B. Dalby is held wits shown at the Pitt Street Methodist «Church last evening, when he was presented with an initialled travelling rug on the eve of his departure for England to take up a position with the?* Plymouth Church. Air. J. Maginnes, stseward of the central circuit, presided over a large gathering of membeirs and friends. The Rev. Dr. C. 33'. Laws spoke on behalf of the Auckland Methodist ministers; Air. Halst«aad on behalf of the Young Men’s Institute; and Air. J. W. Shakleford for hhe trustees and members of the church. One and all wished him every success in his new work. Aliss Daldy, whose work for the Young Women’s Bible clsftss, was specially mentioned, received! a book on New Zealand.
