Perjury Charge William YVorsley, aged 26, was charged at the Wellington Magistrate’s Court yesterday with having committed perjury while giving evidence in the Supreme Court on February 6 in a case in which an attendant at Porirua Mental Hospital was charged with assaulting a patient. It is alleged that accused stated that the patient was injured as a result of fighting with another patient. The case is proceeding.—P.A.
