POLL AT OPOTIKI (Special to THE SUN) OPOTIKI, To-day. A poll is to be taken shortly in the Opotiki Borough on the question of the Wednesday or the Saturday halfholiday. At present the half-holiday is taken on Saturday, but a strong effort is being made toward a change and voting is expected to be very keen. Mr. G. S. Moody, for six years Mayor of Opotiki, has agreed to stand again at the coming elections. Several members of the Borough Council have announced their intention to retire.
