PROGRESSIVE 500 EVENING There was a good attendance of enthusiasts at a progressive 500 evening held in the Parish Hall, Manurewa, on Tuesday evening. After a scries of keenly-contested games the following were announced as the winners:—Women’s section: Mrs. Gladstone King, 1; Mrs. De Carteret, 2; Mrs. W. Wilcox, consolation. Mens section: Mr. Patterson. 1; Mr. Ballantyne, 2; Mr. Clark, consolation.
