FAIR ABANDONED
Press Association INVERCARGILL. Tuesday. Indications are that the Southland May fair, which proved so successful last year and in 1927, will be abandoned this year owing to the inability of the committee to find a chairman. The committee met this afternoon, but failed to solve the problem, and adjourned indefinitely.
