FAREWELL TO MINISTER

REV. G. HALL LEAVES TE KUITI (From Our Own Correspondent) TE KUITI. To-day. The Te Kuiti Methodist Church was well filled on Monday evening for a farewell social given by the congregation to the Rev. G. Hall, who has been transferred to Ngaruawahia. The Rev. E. Ross, of the Presbyterian Church, Captain Lee, of the Salvation Army, and Mr. Rlyth Harper, of the Gospel Hall, spoke of the good work of the departing minister. On behalf of the Young People’s Department. Mr. Bear thanked Mr. Hall for the stimulus he had imparted to the young life of the church. Mr. Dobson, on behalf of the church officials, handed Mr. Hall a cheque, wishing him the best of luck in his new sphere of labour.

The Rev. and Mrs. Hall and family left this morning for Ngaruawahia.
