CARGO FROM ADELAIDE.—The local office of the Union Company has been advised that the Kaponga is to load at Adelaide and Melbourne eai'ly in May for Lyttelton and Auckland. COPTIC COMPLETING.—The Shaw, Savill and Albion motor-ship Coptic arrived at Wellington last evening from Napier to complete her loading. She is scheduled to sail on Friday for London, via Panama. TAIROA LEAVES CO LON.—Cabled news has been received by the Shaw. Savill and Albion Company that their liner Tairoa left Colon on Thursday afternoon for New York, Boston, Halifax and London, en route from Wellington. She sailed from Wellington on March 3. CANADIAN WINNER’S MOVEMENTS —The local office of the Canadian National Steamships advises that it is hoped to dispatch the Canadian Winner from Napier to-day. The vessel should arrive here on Friday, and sail finally from this port for New York, Boston, and Montreal on Saturday. PORT NAPIER’S MOVEMENTS.—In continuation of her voyage from London the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Napier left Auckland yesterday afternoon for Wellington and New Plymouth. After completing discharge, the vessel loads at New Plymouth, Wanganui, Auckland (April 27 to April 30), Wellington and Lyttelton. She is scheduled to sail finally from the Canterbury port on May 9 for Rotterdam and London, via the Cape Horn. CAMBRIDGE FROM LIVERPOOL. Yesterday afternoon the Federal steamer Cambridge arrived at Auckland from Liverpool and berthed at the Queen’s Wharf. Later she proceeds to Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin to complete discharge. The cargo was loaded at Newport, Bristol, Glasgow and Liverpool. She sailed from Liverpool on March 2, and encountered very stormy weather during the first week from port. After passing the Azores, the conditions improved, and were generally fair during the remainder of the voyage. Captain R. Williams is in command, and he has with him the following officers: Chief, Mr. J. Williams; second, Mr. H. Knight; third, Mr. R. Belfield; fourth, Mr. H. Walker; wireless operator, Mr. J. McCarthy; chief engineer, Mr. J. McLean; second, Mr. F. Cass; third, Mr. F. Llewellyn; fourth, Mr. W. Dowling; fifth, Mr. R. Beattie; sixth, Mr. H. Williams; seventh, Mr. A. Vardos; chief refrigerating engineer, Mr. T. McKelvie; second, Mr. G. West; steward in charge, Mr. W. Harding. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents.
