JACK’S FAIR OPENS TO-MORROW

Her Excellency, Lady Alice Fe.rgusson, will open a “Jack’s Fair” in St. Mark’s Hall, Remuera, to-morrow afternoon. The fair is being held in aid ef the Flying Angel Mission, to Seamen, and there will be stalls with all descriptions of goods, and entertainments in the evenings. The fair will be open on both Thursday and Friday. A well-known jazz band has been engaged for certain scenes of the Charles Rogers’s starring production, “Close Harmony,” which is now being made at the Paramount Studios. Nancy Carroll appears opposite Rogers, others in the cast being Jack O&kie and “Skeets” Gallagher.
