GIRL ATTACKED
SCREAMS FRIGHTEN ASSAILANT (Special to THE SUN) CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. A young woman, about 18 years of age. was found lying at the corner of Barbadoes Street and Brougham Street, Sydenham, at 7 o'clock last evening. She was riding a bicycle when she was suddenly heard to scream, and then fell to the road. She was taken to hospital, but her condition is not serious. Subsequently another girl reported that she had been attacked in Brougham Street while riding a bicycle, by a man who made off when, she screamed. The police are inquiring into both cases.
