QUALIFYING PLAYERS (From Our Oxen Correspondent) ROTORUA, Tuesday. Good conditions ruled for the opening of the Rotorua Ladies’ Golf Club annual tournament. Miss M. Payton (6), Mrs. Foreman (6) and Miss S. Payton (8) are the best players competing. The qualifying round resulted: Miss M. Payton, 80; Miss Blythe, 86; Mrs. Nolan. 88; Miss Payton, 89; Mrs. Arthur, 89: Miss K. Browne, 90; Mrs. Foreman, 91; Mrs. McMi Ilian, 92; Mrs. Innes, 95; Mrs. J. M. Wilson, 96; Mrs. E. Hall, 97: Mrs. Dickey, 97; Miss Given, 99; Miss Johnstone, 99; Miss C. Moore, 100; Mrs. Godfrey and Mrs. Parata, 101.
