FARMLETS READY SOON
ESTATE SUBDIVIDED GOOD LAND NEAR FEILDING (Special to THE SUN) PALMERSTON N., Tuesday. Approximately SSO acres of the highly-improved land of the Westella Estate is to be taken over by the Government on April 30 at £55 an acre. This will be subdivided into about 15 small farms, cottqges erected and drainage work done. It is thought the demand will greatly exceed the number of sections available. The property is near Feilding on the main Palmerston North-Feilding highway, and has been settled for 50 or 60 years as high-class sheep country. Already it is fenced over the whole area into paddocks of 30 to 50 acres, wintering lour sheep to the acre. The area is flat and easily roaded. Water is readily obtainable from springs and by well-sinking at any point.
