BOMB THROUGH POST

ADDRESSED TO GOVERNOR OF NEW YORK (Austrolum and N.Z. Press Association) ■ NEW YORK, Sunday. A dynamite bomb was placed in a box of sweets and addressed to the Governor of New York, Mr. Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was found among the matter in the parcel post at the main office in the city. A porter kicked the package, and this caused smoke to exude. He save it a second hard kick and a burning fuse was disclosed. The porter stamped this out before any damage was done. The package was marked with a return address at which nothing appeared to be known of the bomb. The police are - •• - - -
