Mr. James Fletcher, of Auckland, returned by the Niagara yesterday from a visit to Sydney. >lr. F. D. McLiver returned to Auckland this morning by the Marama after a visit to Sydney. Dr. P. C. Blundell, who has been visiting Sydney, returned to Auckland this morning by the Marama. Dr. Neil Mc'Dougall, radiologist at the Auckland Hospital, returned from Sydney by the Marama this morning. Mr. Fred Bridges, assistant boys’ work director of the Auckland Y.M.C.A.. left last evening to take up the position of boys’ work director lor the Dunedin association. Mr. J. H. Mason has been appointed secretary to J. C. Williamson Films I. Ltd., and will leave for Wellington in a few days to take up the. appointment. Mr. McHardy Forman, the managing director of General Motors of Mew Zealand, left by the Niagara to-day for New York, where he will spend some months prior to going to England. He will return to New Zealand in September. Mr. T. A. Duncan, the well-known sportsman, of “Otaire,” Hunterville, left with Mrs. Duncan on an extended world tour to-day.
