DANCE PARTY
A delightful little dance was held, at Fernleigh on Tuesday evening in honour of Mi*. Frank Smith, nephew of Miss L. Smith, of Sydney. The hostess, Miss L. Smith, wore a frock of navy georgette. The lounge hall was gaily decorated with cerise and blue streamers and balloons. Dancing took place in the living room, which was arranged with bowls of pink cactus, dahlias, and belladonna lilies. Among those present were: Mrs. J. O. Hunt, Mrs. Rayner, Mrs. Sutherland, Miss Loftus, Miss X. Hunt, Miss Joan Rayner, all of Fiji, Mrs. J. Smith, of Buckland, Mrs. Hanfling, Mrs. Barker, Mrs. J. Dow, Mrs. Kelly, Mrs. Graham, Hamilton, Mrs. Rout, Misses E. and T. Ryan. Miss M. Thornleigh. Misses D. and M. Hanfling, Miss Littlejohn. Mrs. Grover, Miss G. Taylor. Miss Dore. Miss M. Hanfling, Miss I. Murdock, Miss J. Schillson. The music was supplied by the Misses Beresfords’ Orchestra.
