COMMUNITY SUNSHINE CLUB

PROFITS FROM LUNA PARK The complete profits from the Luna Park Amusement Area during the week commencing next Saturday will be handed to the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Community Sunshine Association. The Community Sunshine Club is an organisation which cares for children in their leisure hours; teaches useful arts and crafts, encourages wholesome sport, and equips and controls playgrounds; also cares for children when they are sick and need medical treatment. The association has many other projects in view, particularly a Sunshine School for sick and invalid children, and is needing adequate funds for its work. By the co-operation of Luna Park, Auckland citizens have the opportunits not only to enjoy themselves, but lender practical help in the care of the city's children.
